Digital and Social Media Marketing Executive

If casting directors are looking for leads for their latest Hollywood blockbuster, a chorus line for a West End revival, or mum & dad for an upcoming McDonald’s commercial, they look in Spotlight. Since our first website launched in 1997, we have delivered innovative applications that have revolutionised the casting industry from our offices, the home of casting, in the heart of central London.

We are looking to recruit a Social & Digital Marketing executive to create and execute a digital marketing and social media strategy that grows and engages Spotlight community of professional Actors, leading Casting Directors and top Talent Agents.

You will work alongside the Marketing Manager to develop the digital marketing and social media strategy and then lead the delivery of this plan. Spotlight have an incredible Marketing team that have a fantastic team first culture, thus you will excel in team environments. You will also be tasked with building relationships with industry specialists to understand how best to engage members. This will require you to attend events, so you will be comfortable networking and very adaptable to different situations.

To be successful in your application for this role you will;

  • have a proven track record within Digital Marketing and Social Media
  • have experience with digital analytic tools, such as Google Analytics, to gain insight into customer behaviour
  • self-starting, this is a senior role where you will have the opportunity to own an area of the Marketing strategy
  • excellent writing skills
  • a passion for the arts/entertainment industry
